Our names are Jofrid Nåden and Geir-Arne Helgeland (married name Helgeland for both of us).
Our children
- Sven Martin Helgeland - married Vibeke, daughter of Else Grannes and Helge Moen.
- Alf Sigurd Helgeland - married Anne, daughter of Liv Jane Andersen and Tor Njærheim. Alf Sigurd next married Maricho Conel Illut, daughter of Mario Illustrisimo Illut and Divina Marabe Conel.
- Arnfrid Helgeland - married Johannes, son of Judith Hommeland and Sigmund Bjelland.
- Øyvind Helgeland - married Mariann, daughter of Anne Brit Lurås and Knut Hagen.
We live in the town Bryne - municipal Time, County Rogaland, country Norway.
The nearest big town is the "oil-town" Stavanger.
Many people emigrated from Stavanger to America and other country.
There are many relatives in America, but we only know a few of them.

Marta Kolstø is her mother, born and grown up on an Island in Ryfylke (Rogaland) called Finnøy on a farm Hauske (also written Hauskje and Hausken).
Her maiden name is from a farm in Erfjord (now Suldal) called Kolst.
Alfred Nåden is her father, born in Tysvær (in Rogaland) and grown up on the Island Finnøy.
His surname is from a farm on this Island called Nåde (also written Naaden and Nåden).
About Geir-Arne's parents:
Signe Torgersen is his mother, born and grown up on a farm called Jåtten (also written Jaaten, Jåthun and Jåtun), near Stavanger (in Rogaland).
Her maiden name is from her father's father, Torger S. Jåtten. Her father was Sigurd Torgersen.
Selmer Helgeland is his father, born on an Island in Ryfylke (Rogaland) called Ombo, on the farm Helgeland.
His surname is from that farm (also written Helgaland and sometimes Helland).
